Mr Punwar was extremely professional .From the moment I entered Blackheath hospital he put me at ease, he explained the whole procedure in detail and in simple terms .He and his whole team were exceptional from start to finish .My post operation appointment with Mr Punwar was again extremely professional and reassuring.Overall I would certainly recommend Mr Punwar to anyone contemplating hip replacement surgery.

Dr Punwar is very dedicated and with very humane attitude. These radiates before and post surgery.
Would always have frank discursions with patients.

I found Mr Punwar easy talk to he explains things very well he had a pleasant bedside manner and I was made to feel at ease I had every confidence in his professionalism and would recommend him without hesitation.My stay at Blackheath Hospital was second to none and the care given could not be faulted.

Mr. Punwar replaced my right knee in December 2020, and the experience was a lot better than I had anticipated. Even though we moved into Lockdown early in my recovery period, the aftercare was excellent and I was fully mobile within 3 months. Mr. Punwar replaced my left knee in September 2021, and again, the experience was very positive, throughout pre-op. the actual surgery (I had a Spinal Block so although I was conscious I was more or less oblivious as to what went on) and the aftercare, on the ward and at home. All the staff were excellent, but Mr. Punwar took the time to answer my questions and reassure me during his visits to the ward, and in the 2 follow-up clinics I've attended. I would recommend Mr. Punwar to anybody (in fact, I already have) and I am delighted with the results of my surgeries. Very little pain, and full mobility. Yay! Many thanks to Mr. Punwar, his team and the marvellous NHS.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Arthritis often affects both knees and it is only when both are replaced that the full benefits of reconstructive joint surgery can be appreciated. Mr Shah Punwar was most helpful, he explain the details of my total right knee replacement operation, which was completed successfully. I now have full movement with my right knee with hardly any pain.
